What does HBN SKU Barcode Audit do?

The app runs a merchant-requested, read-only snapshot of your catalog and checks each variant's SKU and barcode:

• Missing values, exact duplicates, and near-duplicate collisions
• Whitespace and control characters
• Portable SKU formatting
• Barcode structure and GTIN check digits

Each finding explains the evidence, whether Shopify itself allows the value, and the possible downstream impact. The audit never changes product data on its own.
